Police Constable - Registration Process

The total testing fee is required with your registration to process your application. Registration will not be processed until payment is received in the ATS office.

Payments can be made with Visa, MasterCard, INTERAC Online®, Certified Cheque or Money Order (payable to ATS Inc.). PERSONAL CHEQUES ARE NOT ACCEPTED.


Please note that it takes 24 business hours to process your online registration. A comprehensive confirmation package will be sent the following business day (within 48 business hours of receiving your registration).

Once your registration is complete, a comprehensive confirmation package will be forwarded to you including a Confirmation Letter, pre-test and test day instructions, location and map, an Orientation and Pre-Test Guide and the required Constable Selection System forms. Please note that these documents must be completed and returned to ATS by the requested date noted on your confirmation letter.


Additional Information

If you have previously completed any testing with Ontario Provincial Police and are planning to use previous test results, a copy must be forwarded to ATS prior to test date. Failure to submit previous test results will result in a delay in receiving an updated Test Results Profile.

The entire certification process takes anywhere from 4-6 weeks to complete. You will receive by email the results of Stage I (PATI, WCT, PREP) within 7-10 business days of testing. Results from Stage II will be sent by mail only and takes approximately 10-14 business days. (Results are not available by fax, phone or email.)

It is a requirement of the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police - Constable Selection System that all applicants testing or retesting, complete and submit the documents enclosed in your confirmation package. Failure to submit the completed documents to ATS by fax or mail no later than 48 hours prior to your test date will result in a delay in the processing of your results.
